ASIIS TIPS

Thank you for visting the TIPS Page! TAPI will post monthly TIPS for ASIIS and the Child Care Module to help you better utilize the two systems. If you are currently enrolled in ASIIS, please consider enrolling in the Child Care Module (CCM). The CCM offers you the ability to run monthly immunziation reports and letters, offers classroom management and will provide a format for the 2012 Immunization Data Reports (IDR's) to be generated and then printed from the CCM and turned in to your state or county contact.
 

Tips to Remember when using ASIIS
 

1. When searching for a child in ASIIS ALWAYS use their DOB (date of birth) and their first and last initial followed by the % sign (ie: Karin Szymanski = K% S%). This will give you the best match options.
    
2. If your password is expired at login you can request a new passowrd directly from ASIIS. Just provide them with a valid email to send the temporaty password to. Please understand that passwords need to be reset from time to time in order to keep ASIIS secure.

Tips to Rememeber when using the Child Care Module in ASIIS

1. Make sure the box titles "Include on Reports" is checked on the patient detail screen so that the child's immunization information will be pulled on your reports.
    
2. Historical immunization data can only be entered if you recieve an immunization record that has been completed by a doctor or clinic. You can not accept parent recall.
    
3. If you are unsure if any immunizations were given as a combination vaccine (ie: DtaP/Hib/IPV) then list each vaccine separately wtih the date given. Please call ASIIS with any questions regarding entering immunization records into the Child Care Module. The information you enter is part of the ASIIS system and will refelct on the child's ASIIS immunization record.
