For Teens

Shots are not just for kids. Now that you are a teen, there are a few vaccines that are just for you. Some that may be required include meningococcal vaccine and a booster of tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Tdap). Human papillomavirus (HPV) for guys and girls and Hepatitis A vaccines are highly recommended. Also, talk to your doctor to see if you are up to date on all of your vaccines. To learn more about the vaccines that protect, go to getvaxed.org and click on VAXES.

GetVaxed.org has home videos like Tetanus Diving Competition and Celebrity Sick House and the site also has good information about vaccines and the diseases they prevent. MyBestShot.org has videos, games, and other information about vaccines. Click on the Video of the Month or listen to true stories from other teens that survived vaccine preventable diseases.
